Jalisco

Has 126 municipalities, being the most important for their economic development those of Tlaquepaque, Tonalá and Zapopan, already considered inside the Guadalajar Metropolitan Area.

Tlaquepaque

Is considered the main potter center of the country, only 20 minutes of traveling from Guadalajara, the visitors can meet with the center of a population that conserves their square, their church and the tradition of the artisans that offer their products in singular galleries. Tlaquepaque has adapted to the metropolis conjugating old and new customs, to open the way to the new generations.

Tonala

Is the place of the ceramic and of the blown glass, with a population in their majority dedicated to the handmade creation, Tonalá offers to the public an endless number of handmade options that can be as much ornamental as usual.

Zapopan

One of the biggest municipalities in Jalisco, is the religious main center of the state and the most important in West. In the last years Zapopan, has shown a great town planning development, reflected in the houses and commercial squares that have been built in the city. At the moment, the city of Zapopan holds the 2º place in GDP of the country, and it is this Jalisco that more investment captures and has the best projects in the Metropolitan Area, for what is considered as the most modern city in Jalisco.

 

Tequila

In July 12 of 2006 the UNESCO declared the municipality of Tequila as World Patrimony of the Humanity, for its agave azul landscape, and the modern and old plants dedicated to the production of Tequila. And not for anything, since Tequila has given the world the drink with the toponym of the region, and the creation of the elixir is the industry for which the residents of the municipality live.
