By being been founded in 1966, the Office of Visitors and Conventions of Guadalajara was the first in its type in the Mexican Republic, while the Trust Fund of Tourism of the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area was also pioneer in the country, when was established in 1995. The activity that characterizes us is the delivery of the resources of the lodging tax for its handling, based on the decisions of the Private sector, through a Technical Committee compound for 6 positions for the Private Inversion and 4 for Government's authorities. With us you will find consultantship and support for the success of your event. When an Organizing Committee chooses Guadalajara as venue, we give them the necessary support to get the headquarters of the event; we also give them complete attention and the opportunity of know the options that Guadalajara offers in lodging, fairgrounds, places for social events, fair services, congresses and conventions, as well as the tourist attractions that the city offer, that will help you in the success of your event. On the other hand, we also have the support of the Secretary of Tourism of the State and of the Council of Tourist Promotion of Mexico, to carry out the Guadalajara publicity campaign at a national and international level, as well as the support of cooperative partners as Mexicana de Aviacion, Aeroméxico, ETN, Clik, Expo Guadalajara and others.
